In 2024, host David Koch visited 18 different households across Australia to go through their bills with a fine-tooth comb and see if he could find better deals. We walked through everything from how to negotiate your home loan to comparing to see if you’re on the right deal on your health, car and home insurances.
“What we found was shocking – but also exciting,” said Kochie. “The shocking part is that there are so many expensive traps Aussies are falling into and tricks that they’re not using to save big bucks. “No matter how financially savvy or organised you may be, most of us could be getting better deals on things like our mortgages, energy bills, car insurance, home and contents insurance and probably the most confusing of all – health insurance.”
“The exciting part? We found tens of thousands of dollars on the table for eight different families, couples and singles. Now we want to find even more.”
